Leigh Cowlishaw, former director of proposition – accommodation and meetings at Capita Travel and Events, has joined consultancy, Black Box Partnerships (Black Box), as managing partner – specialising in accommodation, meetings and events.

Leigh has over 20 years’ experience in accommodation, meetings and events. Prior to Black Box, she led the management of supplier partnerships at Capita Travel and Events where she created mutual value through accommodation, meetings and events procurement processes, shaped the company proposition in these areas, and led a key customer relationship. Before joining Capita, Leigh spent eight years with Banks Sadler (now part of AMEX GBT) as European account director.
An MIA (Meetings Industry Association) List award winner in 2018, Leigh is past chair and current board member of the HBAA, where she continues to champion mental health as an association initiative. She helped build and launch the GTMC’s conferences, events and meetings steering group, and is on the advisory board of The Meetings Show.
